Each client will be handled personally from Wine People’s tight team (Kathryn and Tayla) from start to finish. We take the time to thoroughly familiarise ourselves with our client’s business, objectives and most importantly the culture in which the successful candidate will be working.

Our focus is 100% within wine industry - We use our knowledge, industry networks, contacts and systematic approach to improve the candidate pool. Candidates often prefer to make enquiries through an anonymous third party who they can rely onto give both independent advice and to maintain strict confidentiality.

Winery Vintage Recruitment

We do an in-depth assessment of the needs of each of our winery clients and their wine people needs for the upcoming harvest. We use this information to build a winery profile that is matched with our strong network of qualified wine people as well as using a systematic process to advertise and widen your candidate pool. From that pool, we can attract, coordinate, and match qualified wine people to help your winery make the vintage happen.

Applicants go through an extensive screening process to confirm their suitability for both the role and the winery. In the case of overseas applicants, this includes ensuring they meet the immigration requirements.

Successful applicants undergo an onboarding process that includes a video interview, reference checks and typically consists of providing all the details both the applicant and winery need for the applicant to start work and set them both up for success.

On top of this, we facilitate pre-vintage on-boarding events and social incentives outside of peak harvest to encourage the full ‘Marlborough Vintage experience’

Towards the end of vintage, both the winery and successful applicants’ complete surveys to gauge their satisfaction and future needs.
